General Electric
The brief was to create an environment that showcases the GE Middle East Aviation Innovation Centres services, focusing on the customer experience. The new space is to provide an inspirational work place for the innovation and creativity of the engineers and reflect their skill sets.
The design is based on the innovation of the services provided by General Electric and the customer experience of the simulation and studies of GE jet engines. The technology used is showcased throughout the project. The use of exposed materials such as concrete reinforces the volume of the architectural enclosure and the industrial purpose. The team has used characteristics of an airplane throughout the space to give spatial presence of work undertaken by the team. The audio visual aspect is interactive towards the individual customers.
