We were tasked with creating the detailed design, specification and construction documentation for three number of projects; the spa, tea lounge and external terrace bar of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Ras al Khaimah, as designed by Hirsch Bedner Associates. AAID took great care and enjoyment designing the luxurious spa facility for hotel guests and visitors, including the gymnasium and aromatherapy suite. In addition to this, we also worked with the retail accommodation, treatment rooms, as well as the elegant bar facilities with a VIP room and lounge areas. Key design elements included banquet seating, feature walls, custom chandeliers, coved and moulded ceilings. We ensured that all the design elements, including the rich textures in the walls and fabrics, blended together to create a contemporary Arabic aesthetic.
